Membership Agreement Terms and Conditions

    Playing with guests

    You are welcome to play with non-members or guests. You can book a court through HelloClub. Guests will incur a fee for their half of the court hire. They can pay using their discount card or by credit/ debit card ($18/h).

    Cancelling a court booking

    We don’t want members to book up the courts and not use them, depriving other members or casual squash players of a game. Please cancel court bookings at least 24h beforehand to allow others to book. If you don’t turn up for a court booking, full casual rates will be charged. (ie $36/h)

    Pausing your membership

    Your membership may be paused for a minimum of 3 weeks due to a significant illness or injury. Please email a copy of your medical certificate to [email protected] to initiate the pause. 

    If you wish to pause your membership for a personal break such as a holiday, 4 weeks notice must be given. Membership may be paused for a maximum of 12 weeks for personal reasons. Please email to [email protected] to initiate the pause. 

    Cancelling your membership

    Memberships are ongoing unless an end date is specified by yourself or Squash Melbourne.

    Silver and Gold: Your membership can be cancelled at any time but 4 weeks notice must be given. Please email [email protected] to cancel. 

    Gold CC, Gold SSL and Platinum: To qualify for TSMC membership to be included, you must have SM membership for a minimum of 12 weeks. After this, your membership can be cancelled at any time but 4 weeks notice must be given. Please email [email protected] to cancel. 

    Club membership

    Gold CC, Gold SSL and Platinum includes your TSMC annual membership fee ($85). However it does not include your S&RV annual fee. 

    Gold CC, and Platinum: Membership covers court fees for Club Circuit home games for yourself and your opponent. Supper costs are not included and will be managed by your team captain. 

    Gold SSL and Platinum: Membership covers court fees for SSL home games for yourself but not your opponent. 

    Payment

    Membership payments are via fortnightly direct debit from your bank account using the third party software, GoCardless. 

    To onboard you to their system, click the link above next to your chosen membership type. You can then authorise the direct debit set-up. 

    Please ensure you have adequate funds available in your account each fortnight or a dishonour fee may apply. 

    Off-peak times

    With silver membership, members may play for free during off-peak times. Off-peak times are:

    Monday to Thursday 12.00pm to 5.30pm
    Fridays 12.00pm to 7.00pm
    Saturdays 12.30pm to 4.00pm
    Sundays 10.00am to 4.00pm

    Changes to the Agreement

    Squash Melbourne may amend these terms and conditions with 7 days written notice. 

    Squash Melbourne reserves the right to terminate this agreement at any time. The agreement termination will be notified to the member in writing (email). 

    Acceptance

    Acceptance of the Membership Agreement Terms and Conditions is given by setting up the direct debit with GoCardless, via the link next to your membership type.
